can i measure land area using the gps feature of the kobo platform or is there a way i could use a third-party application to achieve this and still be in sync with my project?

Hello,

I need to measure land area using gprs but the i need to have it aligned with my individual records which i am collecting from different locations on kobotoolbox. I need help figuring this out. I thought of a third-party application but i need it to be in sync with each record.
