this is our own software from where we want to pull data in KOBO field instead of using Pull Data function , we actually to want to pull data from external database via rest api

Hi,
Do you mean you want to pull data from a different platform into the KoBoToolbox form/project you have? I have not seen this being executed or documented within the platform. We do not support this functionality.
