Hi,
I am supporting the National programme for the control of human African trypanosomyasis in Guinea (http://pnltha-guinee.org/) whose teams cross the affected areas setting blue nets with an insecticide that attract and kill the tsetse flies. They collect the position of each net they replace once a year and switch from classic Garmin to KoBoCollect forms on kf.kobotoolbox.org, but they had a complete loss of data (apparently around end of March 2020). Would it be possible to recover their data? Here are the information you may require:
Thank you by advance!
Hi @Severin,
Welcome back to the community! Could you also please provide us with additional information like the mode of data collection you carried out viz. KoBoCollect android app
or Enketo
.
Have a great day!
Thank you for your quick answer. KoboCollect for Android is the app the team uses.

Hi @Severin,
Can you also confirm that it was successfully synced with KoBoToolbox server and you were able to see them in the server once they were submitted?
Have a great day!
Yes, sure, the team had used the project during approx one year. There were several hundred submissions.
Hi @Severin,
Seems like one of your users have deleted the project data. Currently i see that you have provided sharing permissions to 15 users (while 8 of them have edit/delete submissions access).
Have a great day!
Good to know. Is there a way on your side to restore the deleted data?
Hi @Severin,
Sorry to inform you that data once deleted (at the user’s end) is not restore-able.
Have a great day!
