Hello, I am building a survey had a question type text, and I am using Default Response to show “NY-School” as default response, but it is not working and question has no default response in the text answer.
I usually use Default Response and I didn’t face any problem related before,

Welcome to the community, @rozah! Would you mind sharing with us the extract (section of your xlsform) that holds the default response? Maybe we could also test the same at our end to see what is wrong.

excuse me to post the code in that way since the new members can’t upload files ,
As a clarification, School code will be produced from the default part and number of school entered by the user

Note: When you want a - to be displayed in the text you will need to use the opening " and closing " around the text.
