My date downloads correctly in Legacy i.e. 7/6/2021 but downloading the same using the current view the dates are not compatible with Excel i.e. 7-6-2021. Kindly someone help

You can select the column and use Excel feature Data >> Convert text to Columns
.
Afterwards you are free to do further Excel cell formatting.

I would like to propose that those changes will be pre-tested to work well until SPSS (and Stata and R) import, not only for Excel level. Also metadata formats, like start, end, submission_time should be adapted, please, to allow date-time type format in SPSS (etc.).
At the moment, (bulk) conversion in SPSS can be done with alter type and format command scripts.

this is included in the update as seen here for start and end and here for _submission_time.
Can I ask that you assist with beta testing the feature before it’s released onto HHI and OCHA so we can work out any issues?
