Hello Folks, I am relatively new to Kobo and I was wondering if there is a way or a workaround to display the progress of questionnaire entry so that users can get the sense of how far they have progressed in the data collection.

Welcome @henijes, This is only available (automatically) in Enketo and if the device screen is not small.
In Collect the progress can only be seen as answer values in the navigation menu.
