Is it possible to merge datasets from similar projects to a single project in KoBoToolbox?

Dear Admin,
I am having little challenges with merging data from two different projects. I will like to know if it is possible to merge data from similar projects into one or import from one project to the other with a similar questionnaire.

Your data will be in two excel files. I would suggest downloading these and merging the data manually.

Then you could replace the two old projects with one new, merged, project. That would likely be the best solution going forward.

Thank you very much for your response. I have tried importing an excel file but it seems not to work. I need help on how to import data successfully into a new project.

Hi @Oluwamisegun,

Unfortunately, KoBoToolbox does not support uploading xls dataset from Excel version to KoBoToolbox.

Thank you, how do i upload the new excel sheet back to kobotoolbox to form a new project?
