Hello all,
I am using KoboCollect in Romania, and the Android devices have Romanian as system language. Some of the buttons appear in a language using Cyrillic characters (which Romanian does not have). Is there a way I can provide the correct translations in Romanian? (I’d be happy to do that.)
Alternatively, I know that I can change the device system language to English. However, this is suboptimal for the enumerators.

The translation in Romanian was previously a mix of Russian and Romanian for some reason, but it was recently fixed by a user and we’ll update the app soon to include this translation. You can check the current translation and contribute to Collect’s Romanian version here: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/odk-collect/language/ro/

I forgot to ask that you should also try to use the HTML Enketo Webform for data collection, which is currently being translated into Romanian as well. You can contribute to this project’s translation here: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/enketo-express/language/ro/

KoBoCollect is updated about every few months, depending on major releases or feature changes. The next update will happen in the coming weeks, so the new translations will be included then.
