I wanted to make a question matrix on kobo without using xls but I also read how that won’t show in a grid format if it has to collect data on android device. Can someone clarify and help me out with this?
@bhoomikaramesh, yes you got that correct. The matrix question is only supported with the grid-theme setting meaning you can only use Enketo aka the web form to collect matrix questions. So with this, the Collect Android App would not support the matrix question type.

@bhoomikaramesh, one more to the point above which I missed earlier. Enketo generally is ideal if you have a large device screen for data collection while the Collect Android App is for a small device screen.
please correct me if I’m wrong, but an enketo form is just the web form that can be accessed using both servers on the mobile and computers if needed right?
