We have recently collected baseline data in Ghana. However, as I go through the data cleaning process I found out that some of the responses are missing.
For example, respondent age is a required question, however, a number of surveys did not have respondent age. Another example are questions J2a and J2b which do not have any restrictions but responses are missing for about 28 respondents. Can you please check on this for me?
Project name: IPO_Outcome Baseline
For questions j2a and J2b, the following IDs do not have responses
@RayRay, could you also let me know the total form version for this project before I dive in?
The total version number is 9
So did you add these missing data questions lately, or were they there from the very start of the survey?
No new question was added until a section was added for comment at the end of the survey. All other questions were there from the beginning
With the same respondents’ ID no responses are available for K1a to K7. It appears that data is missing for these IDs under some question numbers but not all questions.
@RayRay, are the information missing in the server or when downloading the data in XLS format?
When I checked the same in the browser, I could see the age. FYR:
After downloading the file and realised the data is missing I went to check on the server as well. The images show that it is not in the server as well
Sorry, did not get this correctly:
Could you kindly explain it to me again?
I just figured it out.
When I download the data from the server without including old forms, then I get the missing values/data.
So I have downloaded including old forms
Thanks for the assistance
So, your problem was definitively related to form edit during data collection.
