Hi there,
since I’m monitoring the ODKs progress in developing their new Web Forms that will replace Enketo in the near future I would like to ask the devs if there are any plans to integrate ODK Web Forms in Kobo either.
Thanks in advance

Hi @DSimon,
Just for your information, the KoboToolbox team has officially taken over the maintenance and development of Enketo.
You can find more details about this in the official announcement below:
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Hi @jorcabrera,
I’m aware of that, thanks. I just think ODKs arguments for ending their role as maintainer for Enketo and opting to develop a new web forms approach from scratch are reasonable from a long term perspective. Don’t get me wrong. I’ve been using Enketo for years and have no urge to abandon it. But there are a few downsides that persist and will be solved by ODK Web Forms, e.g. the much better map widget (UX-wise) or the implementation of range-widget tick labels.
So I would consider it advantageous for Kobo to adapt Web Forms (at a certain stage of maturity) and maybe offer it besides Kobo.
