Possible to reload data that has been stored

I am familiar with Formhub and am looking to switch to your fine site. My question is whether there is any mechanism to pull back a stored data set via a form . We are using formhub for a breast cancer project in Nicaragua and an initial data entry is done (demographics, physical exam, etc) . At some point later I would like to be able to pull this data back into a form to enter the results of a followup visit or a breast biopsy. Of course this would require some type of search as well as reloading functionality. Technically speaking I believe I am asking for REST (web services). If not is there an alternative resource for this?

You might to have a look at preloading data (not sure if it will work for you use case):

Thank you-yes it looks about right but I can find no documentation on HOW to upload the stored data. Can this be done only via ones own instance of Kobo? Or perhaps it hasn’t been deployed yet? A reference to the details would be appreciated!
