PowerBI Issues: connecting PowerBI to KoBo account

After downloading and opening the PowerBI file in KoBo and following steps in the tutorial, I get this error message:

DataFormat.Error: We found extra characters at the end of JSON input.
Details:
Value=
Position=4

I will appreciate any assistance from forum members.
