Can you make a question required, but only if it is relevant

For example:

In Relevant column you can have

${started_business} = ‘yes’

``

But in the Required column you can have
true

``

My question is if you make something required, but it isn’t relevant do you get an error or is it ok. What i want is for the answer to be required ONLY if it is relevant.

Any feedback?

this works fine, the requirement is only enforced when the question is displayed.
