Rotating order of responses in ODK

Is this possible? Ideally I would like to have 3 rotation options.
It would be possible to have a lead-in question asking for the rotation choice and then route to the 3 rotation options - but this would need 3 separate questions with different names in the data base which would have to be combined in the data analysis phase.

Any suggestions re solving this issue?

Regards

Mark

Hi Mark,

There is no in-built feature to randomize questions or responses, but you can get to the same result by using calculations and a bit of ingenuity. Here is a post that covers how to do this: http://support.kobotoolbox.org/customer/portal/questions/13023389-random-order-of-questions-and-or-options, including two sample forms that show how it’s done.

Hope this helps!

Best,

Tino
