Hello, and apologies for cross-posting but I’m not sure whether here or kobotoolbox.org is the place to post a question like this:
We want to require authentication for submission, using an account that is not the owner of the project. Following
http://support.kobotoolbox.org/customer/en/portal/articles/2103898-managing-permissions
here is what I’ve tried:
-
logged in as Account A, the owner of the form: give view/edit/can submit to permissions for the form to account B
-
in a separate browser/computer, login as account B, then paste url to form submission (https://ee.kobotoolbox.org/x/#xxxx). Can access no problem.
-
As account A, check the box by “Require authentication to see forms and submit data”
-
as account B, refresh. Prompted for login credentials. Enter them correctly (again, already logged in) but not accepted.
Should account B be able to enter credentials to access and fill out form?
