Our partner in Chad has been unable to submit forms from their devices in field to our eu.kobotoolbox.org account for the last couple of days (submissions were successful until the weekend). They have tried local internet and starlink connection. They are able to connect and download from the android app with no problem however submitting the completed forms and downloading the raw data from desktop to monitor has been unsuccessful. We think this may be a server issue.
Welcome back to the community, @Izabel! Are you able to make dummy submissions to the project/account from various locations, including both your current location and different countries? This allows us to thoroughly test and identify any issues you may be experiencing. Please let us know if you would like us to proceed with this approach.
Just some extra information that might be relevant.
We at AMF (based in the UK) can view the https://eu.kobotoolbox.org/ site, log in etc and also use KoboCollect on our devices to download, complete and submit forms successfully.
However, we have two partners in Chad carrying out surveys and they are both, independently, having problems with both the KoboCollect app and also simply browsing to the website.
If you could confirm that there is no block which has been placed on requests based in Chad, recent firewall changes or other updates at your end, that might help the users in Chad in locating the source of their issues.
I am able perform a test submission no problem however two separate partners in Chad cannot access the EU.kobotoolbox server (strangely they can access kf.kobotoolbox no problem) - I asked them to run the below command on power shell:
If you need any further information - or wish us to carry out any testing please do let us know.
@Izabel, kindly please be informed that there is no restrictions collecting data all over the world including Chad. I hope it’s an internet issue there.
