Auto Generate IDs

Hi Team,
I want to collect data offline and i need the the form to auto generate IDs .The challenge is we will be using 5 different tablets for the survey.Is there a way to code a particular form to generate a specific range of IDs so as not to have duplicates?

Hi @scherrie, You could also have a look at this workaround which uses date-time stamp to auto generate a unique id for your survey form. In the survey tab of your xlsform: [Image 1] In the setting tab of your xlsform: Please note that this is optional (if and in-case you wish to name your survey submissions based on the unique id).
