How do we design a form with matrix question type where we calculate the totals in column?

@Kal_Lam how could I design a form ( matrix one) which have a calculation in the last column instead of last row ie calculation to be row wise

You could design a survey form with a matrix question type where you calculate the last column as shown in the image below:

In the survey tab of your xlsform:

In the choices tab of your xlsform:

I designed form using grid technique -w2 but after previewed and deployed in enketo it appearance is not as planned instead of just two columns it showup with four columns as shown in image hereby

but my plan is to appear like this one

what is the problem ? and how can i resolve it?

Hello @Kal_Lam , how can I adjust the example that you sent with the following changes:

  • Have columns of different widths
    -Freeze the first row so that when the person scrolls down the survey they are able to keep seeing the instructions?

Can you help in these?
