Welcome to the community! You get this message when your device (by default) does not have a audio recording application to record your audio question type. In this case, you will need to download a third party android app like RecForge II from the google Play Store that will be able to capture audio recording for your survey project for that particular device.

Welcome to the community! Kindly please be informed that Enketo aka web-forms supports audio question type as does the KoBoCollect android app. But for this you will require an audio recorder in your device. Please note, if you fail to have one you will not be able to record your audio with the device whether it be from KoBoCollect adnroid app or if be from Enketo.
