I have two forms/project on Kobo. How can I merge them together?

Hi admin, I have two projects on Kobo and I was thinking of merging using the two using Setting>ConnectProjects>Import other project data.

However, I do not see an increase in numbers on the dataset. How else can I do this?

And If merged on Excel, how do I upload an excel file back to Kobo?

Welcome to the community, @SanjayMathew! Merging projects is not possible within the KoboToolbox system. Hence I have converted your post to features request (suggestion box). Maybe you could VOTE to make this a reality.

You could merge it outside the system and then upload the XLS data in the system through this python script:

@sareep, a while back have created a method for converting XLS data into XML with a Python script so that they can be submitted via the API. This requires an existing deployed form to be in your account. Everything is documented in this repository: https://github.com/kobotoolbox/xls-import. I hope this works for you.
