Limiting the response either one of two conditions

Hi,
I need to collect some numbers which are either 6 digit or 11 digit in the same question. Respondent can provide any one of the two information. It is optional for data collectors to choose any one numbers of 6 digit or 11 digit. Now, how can I restrict them to be able to input only either 6 digit or 11 digit numbers in the same response? Thanks in advance for the support.

Maybe this post discussed previously should help you solve your issue:

Restrict for Entering 10, 13 OR 17 digit number only

Try changing the above to either of the two Option 1 regex(., ‘^[0-9]{10}$’) or regex(., ‘^[0-9]{13}$’) or regex(., ‘^[0-9]{17}$’) Option 2 regex(., ‘^([0-9]{10}|[0-9]{13}|[0-9]{17})$’)
