Trying to provide an immediate feedback on the same page for an id or barcode entered.
This works ok in the browser:
When I leave the top field, the first “Name of book” is updated.
but the field is never updated in KoboCollect, even if I navigate to the next page (filled with pulldata ok), and go back.
Barcode1.xls (35.5 KB) Codes.csv (255 Bytes)
Is there a way to force pulldata to update on the same page in KoboCollect?

I just tried with ODK-Collect: Everything is fine there. So this is a bug in KoboCollect.

that is available at my end.
FYR:
Will notify you when it would be available in the playstore.
Have a great day!

For another feature that works with 1.27.1, see.
After reading REST request to retrieve a value from an external source , I tried the same with ODK Collect 1…27.1 today: First, it does not create a file xx.csv.imported, but keeps the filename xx. Nice. In addition, it keeps a hash of the file in the database table externalMetadata, and updating the CSV file works; the app updates the database when the CSV file changes. Well done.
I hope this feature will carry over to the announce 1.27.1 of Kobo.
The location of the CSV file has change when …
Hopefully this one will be ported to Kobo too.
