Pulldata is not working on KoboCollect (Android)

Please use the attached xlsform. It should work now. I have made changes highlighted in yellow. Besides, please be informed that your csv file was out of format. I have changed its format and have shared with you through the personal message! Please use the same with the current xlsform and you should be able to pull your data to KoBoCollect android app!

Hello friend, thank you very much. The pool data function works in the kobotoolsbox version but not in the kobocollect version. I am going to attach the xlsform that I am using and the CSV file.

@Victorpaisano25, when looking at your CSV file I could see that it’s in a format that is not supported by the system.

You will need to change the CSV format as shown in the image below:

@Victorpaisano25, you should be able to achieve the desired format by following the instructions as outlined in the steps shared below:

Step 1:

Open the CSV file. You should see your CSV file in the following structure:

Step 2:

Select the column that contains the data.

Step 3:

Select Text to Columns data tool from the Data Tab.

Step 4:

By default, you will see Delimited being selected. Now press Next.

Step 5:

Select Semicolon and press Next.

In some cases, you may also need to select Tab along with the Semicolon if the data has line breaks in it.

Step 6:

Now you will see General being selected. You could simply press Finish.

Step 7:

You should now get a dialogue box as shown in the image below. Simply press OK.

Your CSV is now as shown in the following structure:
