Uploading xls data sheet into Kobotool

I have read that kobotool is in the process devising means to upload data onto kobotool platform if one has compiled the data into the form version that has been deployed. Has this been fixed because I have over 4000 records in excel that I want to upload in kobo so that they accessed by different users?

@sareep, a while back have created a method for converting XLS data into XML with a Python script so that they can be submitted via the API. This requires an existing deployed form to be in your account. Everything is documented in this repository: https://github.com/kobotoolbox/xls-import. I hope this works for you.
