I am a Program Executive working on a development project in Iraq to identify the needs of three marginalized groups (women, youth and people with special needs). the project includes implementing a field survey targeting 3500 - 4000 persons in total to help develop a better understanding of the needs for the three groups and how to better integrate those needs into the local planning processes. The benefit of this research is to help the local organizations to better understand the community’s needs, the resources that are perceived to be available, and the services that are still needed.
