I am a bilingual FR-EN Belgian Programme Data Management Specialist specialized with 12+ years of progressively responsible work experience in M&E using GIS, MDC and Data Visualization curriculum development.
Humanitarian and development worker since I graduated as an engineer in land, water and forest management in 2008, I dealt a lot with M&E and became more and more passionate about the importance of the role data can play for small to medium sized humanitarian and development organizations.

I have covered many areas going from land use, agriculture, wash, rural development, food security to ecology, mostly projects with strong emphasis on data management.
Throughout the years, I have accumulated a combined experience of managerial skills on programs and M&E, 6 years of experience of working on the field, as well as acquired many technical data management skills.

My work area today evolves in accompanying small to medium sized organizations in improving how they collect, use and communicate their data. Usually there is an immens potential for improvement that organizations don`t realize so much!

• Help you do your geospatial analyses or set you up with a simple webmap or mobile data collection system;
• Organize workshops on data literacy and f.e. make your team in the field more aware how they could integrate simple dashboards in their daily work;
• Accompany your organization to become more DATA DRIVEN by helping you incorporate improved data management systems into your M&E systems

• Identify skill gaps in managing data and information.
• Provide capacity building for field workers on using tools and managing data projects
• Help you deliver projects using the best technology resources the context will allow.

I am based in Langkawi, Malaysia at the moment, travelling regularly to France/Belgium. Looking to take up other part-time assignments that could be remote based with max of 30% travel.
