500 Error - Request for Assistance

Dear KoBoToolbox Community Forum,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to report a 500 error that I have encountered while using the KoBoToolbox platform.

I have been using the KoBoToolbox humanitarian server for various data collection tasks, but I have recently encountered a recurring error:

“500 Error. If this is a significant error that needs to be fixed, please send a support request to support@kobotoolbox.org with information about what triggered this error.”

My API link is: //kc.kobotoolbox.org/api/v1/data/1139437.xls. I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue. The problem occurs when I link my database to the web. Previously, I could refresh my Excel database and it would automatically update the data from the web. However, starting today, I have been receiving this error message, as shown in the attached screenshot.

The form is publicly shared via the following link:
API Link: //kc.kobotoolbox.org/api/v1/data/1139437.xls

Please let me know if you need any additional information to help resolve this issue. I appreciate your support in addressing this matter.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Rasel

Welcome to the community, @teamntd! Would you mind having a look a look at this support article Connecting KoboToolbox to Microsoft Excel to see if this helps? Maybe try using the API V2 to see how it behaves?

Bonsoir KAl_Lam, j’ai expérimenté la technique proposée dans ton mail. Non seulement elle ne marche pas avec mes données, mais aussi avec le lien communiqué par l’auteur de la requête

I’m encountering the same issue with our API link. We configured KoboToolbox to send submissions to a SharePoint document library, keeping a version of the latest submission. This setup worked flawlessly for over a year, but it suddenly stopped working two weeks ago. I’ve tried various solutions, including accessing the forms through GUID using API version 2 (v2), but none of them have worked. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
