Hello Community and KoboToolbox Team,
I have been using koboToolbox for few years mainly using XLSforms for creating forms rather than visual editor. I was wondering if KoboToolbox has any future plans on building Add-ins for excel or libreoffice calc so users can create, manage, update, deploy, download data, without leaving excel or calc.
It would be really easier to make changes on XLSforms upload it from spreadsheet and preview it rather than moving back and forth between spreadsheet and koboToolbox website.
I had to build local add-in for excel for my use-case, it has some limitations like I have to use proxy server due to CORS issue but I would love to see and use the implementation from the koboToolbox team.
Also I managed to implement user based asset grouping by adding custom groups in
/me ‘s extra_details and assigning them on api/v2/assets/${assetUid}'s metadata.
