All our survey projects were deleted from our user account

Hello,

I’m reaching out because there has been an incident with our Kobotoolbox account where all the forms, along with their data, were deleted. I’m hoping you can assist me with two inquiries:

1. Is there a possibility of recovering the lost information?
2. Can I obtain the IP address associated with the deletion of these forms, and date/time?

Your prompt assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

If you have an account on one of the servers and try to open your account through the link for the other server, you cannot log in. So, you’ll need to log in with the right link. You may be logging into the wrong user account (server).

Thank you for your response; we use the EU server, and all our projects have been removed somehow. Is there a possibility of recovering the removed projects? and Can we obtain the IP address associated with the deletion of these forms, and date/time?

@sardar, could you quickly reach us through support@kobotoolbox.org with the following details?

-Username
-Server

Maybe we could see if we are able to retrieve it back (if the deleted projects are still under the system’s trash bin).

But please also be informed that the system may not have deleted projects. However, we shall try to retrieve (if it’s there).
