Audio recordings issues

We are encountering an issue with the audio recordings for a project we have. Specifically, we cannot hear some audio recordings from both the interviewer and the interviewee. We need to understand whether this issue is due to device-specific problems or if there are errors within the survey’s backend.

You could do a quick check by making an audio recording (outside the KoboToolbox form) with the same device that had this issue and playback the audio file through the device to see if you can hear the audio recordings. My first impression is that it should be an issue on the device side rather than the server side as I have not heard from anyone with the same issue to date. Besides, KoboToolbox is just a medium to manage and store your collected data. The recording is done at the device level with the device app.
