Is there a way to save automatically in kobo, like every 5 minutes or 2 minutes.

I am looking for auto data save (data entry) while interview is in progress using kobotoolbox app in android. Thank you.

As far as I know, Collect is doing some automatic save, see an (old) posting
“ODK Collect saves a checkpoint of the form data every time the user pages forward or backward, and every time the app’s onSaveInstanceState() method is called.”

Also, users can use any time the save button in the top menu and will get a message if you want to close the app.

Thanks for the help. I couldn’t make it happen :smile:
In my data collection process, it happens few times that the kobo app just crash or close suddenly. To avoid refilling or data entry, I was looking for any option for auto save every specific interval like 2 minutes or 5 minutes or 30 minutes.

Maybe you will need to uninstall the app and reinstall it again. That should fix the crashing issue.

Any other command on auto save of data entry apart from the above mentioned by @wroos .
