Collect data to my own database

Dear friends,

I am collecting data to my own database on my own server, and I need to visualize the data automatically on my online map. I am wondering if I can use Kobo to do so, so there are two questions:

1. Can I use Kobo to deploy forms to collect data and sync data to my own database? It looks Kobo only supports data collection to Kobo’s databases: GitHub - kobotoolbox/kobo-docker: Stack of docker containers to all server-side components of KoBoToolbox (kpi, kobocat, enketo-express).

2. If I can’t connect my database to Kobo’s form, is it possible to use REST Services to get the data?
