I am trying to work out a way to additional descition text to a chices field. I want the label from the choices to remain short, but then have additional text to describe it further.
For example: What type of flower is it:
Choices sheet have Daisy, Orchid, Rose etc. which would occur as a list in the select-one question.
I would like to show Daisy (Yellow) in the select_one question options but i dont want the (Yellow) in the Label field as i used the label as dynamic text later on and need to keep it short.
So is there a relatively easy way to setup the choices worksheet to allow this to happen, each choice would have its own name, label and ‘descriptor’
Welcome back to the community, @Rusti! My question for you is where did the Yellow come for Daisy? Is Yellow stagnant for all the other flowers or do other flowers have different colour options on them?
Hi Kal, the ‘yellow’ would be linked directly to daisy only if that answers your question. I have additional information i want to display on the select one question, but not in the label field as i use this later on in questions relating to the selection. The ‘yellow’ would be a description field to assist people in making a decision and would include information such as ‘Max size, diagnostic features etc.’ so it could be quite long and i dont want it in the label field. Ideally this would be like a hint field for the choices list if that is possible?
