Data automatically changed to wrong information

Hello KOBO community

we have developed a form that includes a consent question, if the participants (through a data collector) select no, the survey ends. for this question, a data collector selects “yes” where the questions appears and after filling all the information, this question changes automatically to no, and when syncing the data, the dataset appears empty, even in the tablet the data is empty. what is the problem? and how can restore the data?
This issue does not continuously happen, where in some cases the form is correctly completed and in other cases, this issue happened.

Welcome to the community, @skhasawneh! I think it’s an issue with the formbulding side. Maybe you will need to share your sample XLSForm with the community. The community should then be able to help you out.

This issue happened in one tablet out of 13, knowing that all the data collectors are using the same form. Even on the same tablet, sometimes the data is correct and other times is not. Also, while comparing the tablet and the data, we found some forms fully completed in the tablet while empty in the dataset.
However, please let me know how I can share the xls. this is my first time chatting with the community, and the a message appears that new users can’t upload document.

In addition, I would also advise you to validate your XLSForm through this online validator to see if there are any syntax issues in your form.
