Data Cleaning & Uploading Excel files into Kobo

Hello everyone!

I would like to be assisted with tips on how to perform data cleaning in Excel as well as how to upload the excel files in Kobo so that I can get advantage of the automated report.

This feature at the moment is not available in KoBoToolbox. However, you could do the same using python code as discussed in the earlier post:

Importing xls data into KoBoToolbox

@sareep, a while back have created a method for converting XLS data into XML with a Python script so that they can be submitted via the API. This requires an existing deployed form to be in your account. Everything is documented in this repository: https://github.com/kobotoolbox/xls-import. I hope this works for you.

Data cleaning is a very project-specific issue. You need to do it in the context of your form. I suggest you do some reading on how to do that in excel.
