Data collection varies by device

Hi there,
I’m experiencing a ‘bug’ with the data collection between Samsung tablet and Apple Iphone.

On the same survey form - same question type - the devices perform differently.
EG - Take photo
Both case via the web browser.

Apple Iphone - takes photo and embeds directly into form.
Where as - Samsung tablet - photo can only be embedded via the photo gallery of the tablet.

Any advise on how to have the samsung tablet - directly embeds the photos rather than the gallery?

Hi @fakhrizalakbar, Please see the image below to Take Picture for KoBoToolbox: [Image%201] You could also use the new-front (under appearance) to capture new photo with font-camera (selfie) or use new-rear (under appearance) to capture new photo with rear-camera.

Disable Upload Picture and require to take new photo

If you are in an app, you should be able to take the image right away. But if you are using Enketo, you will need 2 steps. In the first step you will get a screen as shown in the image below: [image] Then you will need to tap Check here to upload file. (< 10 MB). Once you tab this, you will be taken to a different screen (as shown in the image below): [Image 1] Then you will need to select Camera to take pictures.
