I am particularly impressed by the default report generated by KoboToolbox. It is well-structured, even though it consists of basic statistics. Specifically, I am intrigued by how multiple-choice questions are managed. How does it arrange the different options when they are transformed into binary variables in the dataset? Is it possible to reproduce such a report using statistical software like R or Python? Additionally, can we get more details on how this default report is produced? Thank you for your guidance.

Apart from the Custom Reports Viewing and Creating Custom Reports, generated by the system, you should also be able to generate your own by using a third-party application as outlined in this support article Connecting KoboToolbox to Microsoft Excel and Connecting KoboToolbox to Power BI.
