Deleting question options

Hi,

I am wondering if I delete options and redeploy a survey (that already has data collected), will the old options disappear from the data I download?

This totally depend on the deletion you undertook. Take the following as an example:

If you had a question say what animals do you like?

  1. Rabbit
  2. Antelope
  3. Lion

Then you deleted the response 1. Rabbit and replaced it with a 1. Chicken. This is a very risky situation since the 1 would mean a totally different thing.

By design you can get data from all the previous versions of your form and as such you should be able to get all your data. However watch out for the example provided above
