Hello! Does configuring the server from a QR code in KoboCollect also copy over the project management settings and admin password? I want to find a fast way to configure things like “auto-send” and “delete forms”. Or is there a way to configure this on Kobo Toolbox before deploying?
Unfortunately I don’t have multiple android devices on hand to test.
@happygreenshmoo, please be informed that the QR code is only used to configure the server settings, and it does not configure the settings like auto send
and delete forms
. You will need to configure them separately (manually).
Hello,
No, QR codes do not copy project management settings or admin passwords. QR codes are simply a type of barcode that can store information, such as website URLs, contact details, or text. They are commonly used for quick access to information or for scanning purposes. However, QR codes themselves do not have the capability to copy or transfer any settings or passwords. They are static representations of data and cannot perform actions or interact with other systems on their own.
