My team and I are working on a childhood malnutrition project in rural Pakistan. We are using Kobo toolbox to collect community based surveys. Over the course of the project, we have revised wording on select questions. For example, in a Kobo form, we may have asked for ‘age’, which we then clarified as ‘child age’.
As such, when we get the data download for forms, we see fractured data outputs, which are challenging to analyze.
Is there a way to clean up the data downloads in Kobo for such cases?
Hi @Kal_Lam - This forum is saying I am not allowed to upload anything as a new user. As such, I have created a link to the file using wetransfer (below). Please let me know if you’re able to see it. In ‘Image 1’, I have highlighted a set of rows where data appears to be missing. For these same rows, in further out columns, that information is available. It seems that for some forms, we had a break in our forms where the data for the same fields got disaggregated. This creates an analytical challenge for us when we try to pull and review the data. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you in advance for your help!
