I am planning to do a Household Registration Survey (parent form), which will have follow-up surveys (child forms). These Household surveys are likely to contain sensitive information.
I was looking at using Dynamic Data Attachments to bring limited information into the follow up surveys (child forms), to be able to link the surveys together at a later date, and keep the household survey data separate.
When testing this out I saw when clicking the button to “Share data with other forms”, the privacy notice states that the full dataset from the parent form is downloaded as a background XML file. However, in the instructions in step 2 it mentions “Users can then restrict specific variables to share with child projects or share all variables from the table by toggling the Select specific questions switch.”
Would all the answers from the parent form be downloaded as XML to the mobile used to collect responses for the child forms, or would it just be the questions that I select?
