Looking at the similar solutions in the community, I checked the randomize parameter box in everywhere applicable. However, the error message- Error 400 (seed value must be a number or reference to another field)- keeps popping up!

You could also check out the specific question (choices) to fix this through the XLSForm as shown in the post discussed previously:
