Somewhere in your calculation, relevance, or constraint you are referencing a variable ${_6_1c_2_CHILD_LABOUR_AND_OR_EX_009}.
Kobo cannot find this variable in your XLSForm’s survey sheet.
Possible reasons:
- The variable name was changed in the name column but not updated everywhere.
- There is a typo (e.g.,
_vs-, uppercase vs lowercase). - The question was deleted, but references to it remain in other questions.
- You added leading/trailing spaces in the name column.
To fix the issue, check the name column in the survey sheet to confirm whether this variable exists, then use Excel’s search function to locate all references to it in your XLSForm, and update them to match the correct variable name exactly. Once all mismatches are corrected, re-upload the form to Kobo and the preview should work without errors.

Hello My Friend. The above error explains itself that you have DUPLICATE CHOICE LIST NAME .
Please go to CHOICE sheet of you form and make sure all the LIST NAMES are UNIQUE.
However if you have done that and the problem persist. Please share the form so we can do more analysis of the cause
