If I make changes to a form and redeploy the form while the data collection has already been going on, would I still get the forms of the old version (the ones that respondents are in the middle of filling in, or the forms that have been saved but not yet sent)?
I made some tests regarding your question. Here are my findings:
Enketo - Web Forms, when you change your form and redeploy it, users will get this notification when they open the form:
If they don’t refresh the page, they will still submit in old version. You will see this in the
version column of
data, so you’ll know which forms have been submitted in which version.
In general, it is always a good idea to test before submit and make changes when there is no data collection happening.
