Hi there
I have a question if I have a select_one question and I need to give weights for the answer for example what is the main water source and the option as the following
No water source 1
tanks 0.5
network 0
I have a lot of questions and I will find the result according to the selected options and weights any help or document for this issue.
We have plenty of examples in our community for assigning weights. Maybe it should give you an idea of how it looks like:
Example 1:
Hi @PALASH9698 ,
You could do this in a simple way as outlined in the image below:
In the survey tab of your xlsform:
[Image 1]
In the choices tab of your xlsform:

Data entry screen as seen in Enketo:

Reference xlsform:
Weighted Score Sample.xlsx (11.9 KB)
Have a great day!
Example 2:
Thanks for your reply. However, in your example when a condition is not met, the eligibility score should still remain 1 (as a result of age). There should be nothing scoree on the assistance question because income support and small business was selected which should result in zero eventhough day care was selected, which by itself would have scored 1… So the solution you presented does not capture what I stated in the example
Example 3:
Dear Kal_Lam,
Q1-Q6 (Only 5 score is added)
if anyone Q1-Q6= Yes, some difficulty, a lot of difficulty score will be =5
or if anyone Select only one question Yes, some difficulty,a lot of difficulty then also score will be =5
else anybody Q1-Q6 select No, no difficulty,Cannot do it at all then score =0
Best Regards
Palash
Example 4:
Hi @Kal_Lam ,
Thank you for your willingness to support and help. Here are some examples in addition to the one earlier shared.
Household size ( If <5 score=0; if >5 and <10 score = 1; if >=11 score=2)
Number of Livestock (if <5 score=2; if >=6 score=1)
Farm size (if <2 score= 2 ; if >=2 score=0)
Daily Household income (if <$2 score=2; if >=$3 and <$5 score=1; if >=$5 score=0)
