I am trying to calculate the Survey Completion Duration to understand, how many minutes did the Enumerator take to complete one form.
I am using the “Start” and “End” options in Kobo and calculating the difference in Excel. My question is, how accurate this time is? Can I make a decision based on this duration? I put the image below:
It’s reliable and accurate. We already have a lot of workarounds to calculate survey time which you should be able to see if through this post discussed previously:

Just to add and to be aware of: start is set initially and end finally. So, if you have a break during during data collection for the case, like continuing the same interview the next day, all calendar time will be counted (not only the real interview time).
Also additional supervisor activity/edit before finalisation/submission will be included.
