How participants can only be selected once in Kobo?

How to ensure that each participant can only be selected once and if chosen twice, surveyor should be prompted to choose a different participant.

Welcome to the community, @yuthame! Is this for a text question type or is this for a select-one question type?

Its within a group (begin repeat and end repeat), where participants list are there and enumerator needs to select one with follow up questions. Then add participants and so on. I want to make sure that enumerators select the participant only once. Share you kobo id, i can add you to the project.
