so I put my default language into english, and the account setting is also in english. I have the translation option of nepali, but now suddenly when in english, the enketo form buttons are in russian. I don’t know why. In the nepali version the enketo form buttons are in english.
How do I change it, so that the action buttons in both languages are in english?
Welcome to the community, @Jules1! It could be an issue with the browser’s default language settings. Feel free to let us know the browser you are using. The community should then be able to advise you on how to change the default language settings for your browser.

I am currently using Firefox, I also tried with microsoft edge but had the same issue.
I am also willing to download chrome etc, if that could solve the issue.
Firefox is working in german, which might cause the confusion. The weird thing is that I have 4 surveys and the language thing is only happening to 3 out of 4.

@Jules1, yes maybe try with Chrome. Please also check the default language of your browser to see if it’s the one that you wish to have for your survey.
Or, you could also by-pass the browser default language setting by setting it in your form by following this post discussed previously:
I think setting it in my form it would solve my problem.
It’s my first time using kobo, so I am not sure how I open these settings. I am currently using the webpage, and I am struggling with that function.
Do you understand my issue?
@Jules1, you can set this by following the steps outlined below:
- Download your form as XLSForm
- Then make necessary changes to your XLSForm
- Upload the XLSForm back to the server
- Redeploy (if you have already deployed your project)

I found my mistake in the end, I wrote the wrong language code for English.
Without you I wouldn’t have figured that out.
