How to format numbers?

I am very confused with numbers. How to format numbers. For example: 1000 => 1,000

Hi, when I use thousands-sep in the appearance column, the number appears twice. Once as the unseparate value and once separated. Is there a way to avoid this?

in this specific case, because the numbers are in a matrix, the appearance column reads “w1 no-label thousands-sep” . But i have the same issue with integer questions where appearance column is only “thousands-sep”

@anupah, this is the downside of Enketo aka web forms. This should not be the case with Collect android app.
